an update on my Friendgiftr mess
on april 30, i wrote a post on my blog entitled, Friendgiftr doesn’t want my money. it was a long rant about how i tried to buy a gift card for a friend but was unsuccessful over a “Matching” problem that just didnt make sense. [ see the post for the full story ]
on may 3, i was surprised to see a comment on that post by Friendgiftr co-founder Rob Carpenter.
woah !
i was very impressed that the top of the business food chain had personally taken time out of his day to respond to my nightmare experience with his company. [ go here to see his comment, scroll to bottom ]
first, he thanked me for my post and constructive comments and then said he would look into dissecting the problem and make sure it doesn’t happen again. well done!
not only that, but he also gave me and my nursing friend each a $50 gift card!
Steven Soo, also co-founder of Friendgiftr sent me a very nice email afterwards too and made sure my friend and i received our free gift cards.
now that’s customer service. [ no im not talking about getting the freebie. im talking about the professional response, explanation, and proposed rectification that Rob and Steven said in their email all while using a familiar friendly voice akin to a tech customer service guru like Zappos. ]
i’ll give Friendgiftr another chance because of this and am now hoping you guys really grow successful. good luck.
