Anonymous asked: I wish you would update scutwork more than every 2 months. Its a valuable resource for those of us who aren't in residency yet. I look forward to reading your blog but you haven't updated in a while. What have you been doing?
Anonymous asked: what EHR do you use in your practice? (forgive me if this has been asked/answer before) - just came across your blog today. thanks!

Anonymous asked: I was looking up information about PA and came across your blog... It's very impressive how you have time being a physician and doing all the web blogs. This is not a question, just a compliment to you. Enjoy!

This is why I use UpToDate when practicing...
A study published in the Journal of Hospital Medicine finds that hospitals using the clinical reference system, UpToDate, experienced shortened hospital stays, fewer deaths, and better quality performance than those not using UpToDate. Over a three-year period, the 1,017 hospitals using UpToDate experienced 372,500 fewer hospital days per year and 11,500 fewer deaths than comparable hospitals.
