rochester, ny and wakemate fail

my wakemate worked!
last night, i paired my WakeMate with my iPad to wake me up no later than 7:30am. that gave the device a 20 minute window of when i would actually wake up, 7:10am to 7:30am.
i’m the kind of person who takes a long time to fall asleep and i was worried it would confound the statistics. if you look on their website, there are statistics for how much sleep you got, how many times you were...

an update on my WakeMate fail
the staff at WakeMate contacted me via Twitter and gave me some instructions on how to fix my problem.
that’s what i call good customer service! they saw my tumblr post via twitter and sent me a reply.
nice. you dont see that too often with other companies. we’ll see how it goes with the device tonight. i’ll let you all know tomorrow.

i got my wakemate in the mail
but the first attempt to use it was a fail.
a known issue with the device, is if you receive a text or a push notification, you have to reset the wristband and alarm.
well, that happened overnight sometime. i received some breaking news from CNN. and so no sleep data was recorded.
damn.
what i’ll try to do is pair the wakemate with my iPad which doesnt have any push notifications set...

it’s because im addicted to the internet. i bring my laptop with me and have it open during my clinic hours.

calling it a night
i think ive been working on scrubdin for the past 7 hours. i think im going to stop for tonight.
from those 7 hours, i was able to add 16 apps to the database and create 4 videos. still need to edit the videos tho.
let’s see. 6 hours, 16 apps, 3 videos, 1 edit. not fast enough.
anyways. gotta catch up on missed tumblr news. and my google reader says i’ve got 930 posts to read....
